Baby Blog

As we get closer to December, we thought it might be nice to have a place where our friends and family on the other side of the country could go and view the latest on our journey to parenthood.

Trip to Washington

In August Greg and I both made the trip home to Washington for many different activities; First, it was to Spokane for Alex Tuminello's Birthday on Friday, John and Deena Ward's Wedding on Saturday and then GG's Memorial Service on Sunday. Then, Mindy went back to Washougal and Greg stayed up in the Spokane area and spent the rest of the rainy week at Jason Repp's on the river. On August 22nd Mindy had a Baby Shower at Grandma Dixie's house in Vancouver. Thank you everyone who made it out to the shower for the wonderful gifts, we have a full closet now. It was also great to see all of you and can't wait to bring Ethan back to meet you soon.

22 week ultrasound

Here are a couple photos from our 22 week ultrasound. I think these were some of the best we've gotten so far. You can actually see his profile, I think he looks like Daddy.

About Me

My photo
Mindy Sipe
So here I am, a mother of 2 wonderful children, Ethan & Alison. It's been 8 months now since Alison was born and I'm struggling to get that last 10 pounds of baby weight off. I love to exercise but haven't had much motivation these days. Until now! I had an epiphany, now is the perfect time to finally train and do a triathlon. Growing up my parents would run marathons & triathlons so it's always been a dream of mine to follow in their footsteps and become a triathlete. It's going to take a lot of hard work to get this momma in shape, but I'm up for the challenge. I'm privileged to have my sister, Kristy, join me on this journey while we push ourselves to do things out of our comfort zone. What a great way to end my 20's :) The big day is August 12th, so let the training begin!!
